This is my take on the early 2000's star placement that a hairdresser did on me when I was getting my hair done for my senior portraits. I remember thinking how cool it was & mind you this was at a time where i had to bring my Special Effects to the salon because many salons didn't carry fashion color.

I have morphed this technique into many different variations. The Hybrid Halo Technique is a high impact, minimal effort placement that saves you time & (is intended to) save your client money. It's the perfect placement that can create a whisper, talk or shout finish.

It's perfect to have in your arsenal for smaller budgets.

Those perfectly placed rainbows where you could see every color, no matter which way the head was turned or how the hair moved. I literally agonized over it for yearssss! I dissected other artists work for a long time until I just gave up & figured out my own way.

That way is the Reverse Rainbow. A technique that is so versatile in it's application that it can be applied to any blonding service (bleach out, hilights, balayage, ombre etc.) and give the desired effect all with outcomes that are customized to your clients level of maintenance.

For this look I foil one side & bleach the other followed by an overlay of fashion color in the Reverse Rainbow placement so you can see the true difference your palette can make. This will give you options to offer your clients that you can base off their budget, maintenance level & desired outcome.
