A notice of 48 hours or more is required when cancelling, rescheduling or modifying your appointment.
New Clients: are required to pay a $75 deposit to book their appointment. Your appointment date and time will not be booked until the deposit is paid. You have 2 days to pay your deposit before I open the date back up to be booked by others. All appointments are first come first serve (so if you slack on paying your deposit, there is a possibility someone can snag your preferred day/time). Your deposit will go towards your total service amount, if you cancel/reschedule within the 48 hour window your deposit will be forfeited & you will be required to pay a new deposit to rebook. If you cancel/reschedule outside of the 48 hour window your deposit will be transfered to your new date or forfeited. Deposits are to be paid via Venmo & are non refundable.
Existing clients: As of 1/1/25 it will be required that a credit card be kept on file, if you cancel/reschedule within the 48 hour window you will be charged 50% of your service total. This will NOT go towards your services at your rescheduled appointment. If you refuse to pay the $75 you will be removed my books & banned from my chair.
Tardiness: I do allow a 5-10 min grace period for guests. Sometimes this may result in having to skip a haircut or blow dry so I can complete your services without running into the next clients appointment time. I kindly ask that you PLEASE communicate your late arrival with me. If you are 10 mins or more late, your appointment will be cancelled and it will be considered a no-show. (To be clear if you are not in my chair at the 10 min mark, it will be cancelled)
Changes & Modifications: Once we have reached an agreed upon budget/services and your appointment is booked, changes or modifications MUST be made with no less than 48 hours notice. I do understand that budgets fluctuate and things come up and I do my best to work around those while still delivering the results you want, I just ask for upfront communication regarding that. If you give less than 48 hours notice or no notice at all, you will be responsible for the full amount you originally booked for. If you choose to leave without service due to this, you will not receive your deposit back.
No Shows: If you no call/ no show your appointment you will be required to pay 90% of your total services before I will rebook you. Upon rebooking a $75 deposit will be required & will go towards your services. If you cancel or reschedule inside the 48 hours, it will be forfeited. If you no show twice there will not be a third time, you will be blocked from booking with me and banned from my chair. Life threatening medical emergencies will be the only exception.
While I do understand that things come up & emergencies happen, I ask that you do your best to communicate with me in a timely manner. I know I do not have to explain the importance of income to you as we are all responsible adults here.
For the comfort of the other clients & stylists, I do request that you refrain from bringing extra guests to your hair appointment.
Due to the limited space of the suite, accommodating extra guests can make it crowded and uncomfortable for everyone. If you do arrive with a guest that does not have an appointment, they will be asked to wait outside the suite until our appointment is finished.
Under no circumstances are children allowed in the salon. Children are considered any persons under the age of 18.
While I'm sure that your kiddos are great, the salon can be a very dangerous place for them with the chemicals, sharp objects and hot tools that await them around every corner & it's impossible to keep an eye on them at all times while in the chair. If you do come to your appointment with your kiddo, you will be asked to reschedule & the appointment will be treated as a no show. (see above)
I also do not perform services on any persons under the age of 18. This is non negotiable. I thank you in advance for your understanding on this matter.
Due to the nature of these services, I cannot provide refunds once the service has been completed.
If you are unhappy with the results of your service please contact me within 7 days of your appointment so that I can get you in for any necessary adjustments. These adjustments will be free of charge to you.* If you contact me outside of the 7 days, you will be charged for your adjustment. If you see something you don't love while still at your appointment I encourage you to speak up and let me know (I wont be mad I promise!) this gives me the opportunity to make adjustments before you leave.
If you are unhappy with something I implore you to reach out to me before you take your issue to social media. This is my livelihood and I can promise you the clout is not worth causing another human mental anguish & ruining their business.
*If you try to adjust your hair from home or go to another salon to do so this will void your free adjustment within the 7 day window. This includes toners, purple/blue shampoo, glosses, clarifying shampoo or color depositing clenditioners.
At any point during your service I may record content to share on social media, including photos & videos. By using my services & booking an appointment with Crystal (Cryistal Chaos), you consent to your likeness being featured in my content and posted across platforms. If you would prefer to not have your face on camera, just let me know and I can make faceless content.
Clients are welcome and encouraged to create content while in the salon as long as doing so does not imped on the services being performed & does not paint Crystal (Cryistal Chaos) or other stylists/clients in a negative light.
To ensure that you look and feel the best in your after photos I recommend that you wear a top (or bring one to change into) that is contrasting to the color you're getting. (If you're receiving a darker color bring a light shirt & vice versa).
No color inspo is ever guaranteed.
When it comes to inspiration photos it's important to know that not everyones hair is the same. Everyone has a different canvas, texture etc. While inspiration photos are great, it's important to know that you will never look exactly like the picture. I do my best in our consultations to mange your expectations & let you know what is and is not possible. But you have to do your part in listening and understanding that your hair can only withstand so much.
Color Corrections can take multiple sessions and you may be asked to break it up into 2 days because of the time it may take to achieve your desired outcome. I WILL NOT push your hair to it's breaking point to achieve your goal, if that's something you want then I am not the stylist for you.
By booking an appointment with Crystal (Cryistal Chaos) you agree to these policies & understand that if you do not adhere to these policies Crystal has the right to refuse future services. You understand that Crystal also reserves the right to charge any card on file for missed appointments etc as stated in the "Cancellation & Deposits" section. You understand that Crystal has the right to alter, remove or add any policy at any time.
